Berlin

Berlin. She has to be lived with a kind of spirit. Berlin is more than a city, she's a state of mind.
Who struggle with the weather may have some difficulties, the weather here can change every hour.
But that's what you have to deal with in a city that's constantly evolving.
You can feel it in every little street, this German-ish air: order and rationality. Conscious of his strength, but without hiding its strong redeemed soul. It's quite evident how assiduously Berlin tries to apologize for the past of her people. And this is an essential key in order to fully appreciate her.
The Holocaust Memorial, the Jewish Museum are only the most touching of the apologizing letters scattered around the crowded streets of the German capital.
But don't be fooled by the sad side of his soul.
Berlin is alive, so alive. There is an eternal movement; the modern design of Potsdamer Platz and Bundestag gives the feeling of a distant future, opposed to a seventy-ish sour areas such as the beautiful Hackescher Markt .
Berlin is young. I say this as a 27 years old guy. Walking around Berlin is a bit like being at home. And apparently many young people have the same thought. It's a huge city, but everything is on a human scale. Everything works properly and spending time here is directly proportional to the feeling we can build a future here.
Four days are not enough to make a judgment like that, you may say.
But until you try it, even only for a few days, you do not understand it. Berlin hits hard. And like everytime you get hit , grows in you a precise awareness. Mine is that I'm returning as soon as possible.
And stop apologizing, dear Berlin, I forgive you.
